Solidarity in hard times

Recently, you might have heard that itch.io has delisted NSFW games due to instructions by Mastercard and Visa. This is an attack on gaming and especially LGBT creators under the new "christian" administrations causing censorship across the world.

My vn was delisted long before this for unclear reasons, though that hasn't stopped me from advertising it successfully and using non-itch.io platforms to host it. Still, I feel for the authors who can't diversify in the same way, as doing so requires a level of commitment (and sometimes money) that not everyone can afford. And given that itch-io is going after payouts, it may soon be possible that my VN won't add revenue (though again, the game is purposefully free for all).

Head over to https://fvn.li/ so you can access any adult FVN you like (except for mine, but I don't mind). Yes, I researched and I realized it some Australian protest bullshit

Its not Christians, its an anti free speech cult who want to control the media.

It's not Christian. It's sex-hating prudes who want to destroy all fictional porn so you can only see "real" porn like from OF.

Yeah, I got that after some researching

It's some Australian initiative. Very stupid

I don't think it's cause of the new "christian" administrations, this has been going on behind the scenes since the onlyfans thing back way then. I assume they don't like their investors seing that their money comes from people paying for "porn", but at the same time I think that's pretty much bs. There's plenty of things that could be considered "indecent" that you could get in amazon, for example. But I don't see these companies reaching out and trying to get amazon to unlist the "indecent" products.

Yes, I just learned it's because of an Australian anti-porn intitiative, that started over the game No Mercy. It's balls to the walls stupid either way though
